Staley, Cleveland Armstrong Known by many as Deacon Staley, went home to Jesus on Sunday, September 8, 2019. He was born Dec. 19, 1928 in Cordele, Georgia. He was a pillar in his church, Fellowship Missionary Baptist, and served in many leadership roles from Deacon Board Chair to Sunday School teacher, to name just a few. Deacon Staley served in the army during the Korean war as a Medic. He retired from Napco Industries as Chief Tool Engineer in 1994. Deacon Staley is predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Mary (Matilda) Crosby Staley and son, Jimmell. In addition to many friends and close neighbors, he leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews.
