Ferber, Gerald "Jerry" Age 97 of Mpls passed away peacefully on 9/17/2019 at Catholic Eldercare River Village East. Proud WWII Vet who served as an MP in the Asiatic Pacific and Philippine Liberation Campaigns. Former business owner of Ferber Recreation in Osakis, MN, retired Honeywell employee. Avid bowler, golfer, fisherman and friend to all. Preceded in death by wife of 68 years, Lillian R.; and brother, Albert Ferber. Survived by daughters, Diane (Bob) Marget and Julie (Roger) Mack; son, Warren (Amy); grandchildren, David (Billie) and Steven Marget, Jennifer (Ryan) Kewatt, Lisa Ferber (Dan), Sabrina (Jason) Chorba, Adam (Ashley) Ferber, 9 great-grandchildren; brother, George Ferber; nieces, nephews, relatives & many friends. Visitation Tuesday 5-7PM at Billman Hunt Chapel, 2701 Central NE. Mass of Christian Burial, Wed. 9/25, 10AM with visitation 9AM at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, 129 29th Ave. NE.
