Kim, Leo Leo Kim, a son of Korean immigrant parents, born on 1/19/1946 in Shanghai China, was a citizen of the world. He lived in Hong Kong, Macao, and Austria before immigrating to the US. Leo died on August 14th after a period of declining health and surgical complications. Leo studied architecture and photography at North Dakota State University. Early in his career, he worked at the Fargo Forum as a photographer and graphic designer. He published two black and white photo collections, "North Dakota Prairie Landscape" and "St. Paul Serenity." Leo generously shared his artistic gifts by mentoring aspiring photographers, young and old, and he delighted in photographing friends and their children. Preceded in death by mother, Lim Song Dok; father, Kim Dok Won; and brother, Raphael. He is survived by sister, Madeline Kim, Japan; and brother, Tobias Kim, Germany, as well as many friends. A funeral mass will be held on September 14 10:00 a.m. at the Saint Paul Seminary, St. Mary's Chapel, 2260 Summit Ave. St. Paul, MN 55105, reception to follow. A memorial service will be held in Fargo at the Hotel Donaldson on October 5 from 6-9:00 p.m.
