Bruce Lyle Swanson

Swanson, Bruce Lyle 62, passed away very suddenly of heart disease in AZ on April 7, 2019. He was preceded in death by grandparents George and Nora Swanson and Vern and Thelma Crosby. Bruce will be deeply missed by parents Lyle and Mary Swanson, sisters Vicki Nesheim, Nancy (Gary) Sorenson, brother Steve (Becky) Swanson, many loving nieces and nephews, family and friends. Bruce loved all sports and was active in baseball and hockey. He graduated from Kennedy H.S. in 1974, went into the Navy, settled into CA, and eventually CO. He ran his own successful business for many years and then retired. He bought an RV, and spent the last 3 years traveling in UT & AZ. Bruce loved music, the outdoors and was a gifted athlete. He was a passionate and skilled rock climber. A memorial service will be held at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Road, Apple Valley, MN 55124 952-432-6351 on Saturday June 29th at 11 am, with visitation at 10:30.
