McKinney, Jerry G. Age 86 of Eden Prairie passed away peacefully on Sunday February 17, 2019. Jerry was born in Towanda, Kansas. After high school, he enlisted in the Navy and served on a destroyer during the Korean War. Jerry retired from the Honeywell Corporation in Mpls. His great enjoyment was golf, being a member and past president of Minnesota Valley Golf Club. Jerry is survived by wife, Mary (Tash) McKinney; brother, Orville (Judy); sister, Kaye (Craig); daughter, Vickie (Tom); son, Michael; grandchildren and cousins. He was preceded in death by parents Emma Rake and Wilbur McKinney and daughter Kerrie. Mass of Christian Burial, Church of Pax Christi, 12100 Pioneer Trail in Eden Prairie on Friday, May 17th at 11 a.m. Visitation at 10:00 with luncheon following the service. Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pax Christi Church or the Struthers Parkinson's Center.
