Pierce, Jovan Patrice (Smith) From Blaine, MN, age 37, made her transition on November 13th, 2018. Von was preceded in death by her grandfather - William Hodges, aunt Laura, special cousin Dalone (born on the same day and year as Von) and 1st cousins - Corey, Mario & Jonathan. She will be remembered by her nickname Tinkerbell and her passion for serving & cooking. Jovan "Von" loved her family and enjoyed spending much time with them as possible. Jovan professed Jesus Christ as her personal Lord & Savior in Chicago, IL in 1989. Jovan was a member of Grace Outreach in Coon Rapids, where she lead the hospitality ministry. Von was blessed with a blended family & leaves to cherish her memory: daughters - Kieonna & Kya Miracle; parents - mother, Vera (George) Martin, father Edward (Laura) Walker & William (Sharron) Hodges; grandparents, R.B. & Janet Smith, Bernadette Hodges; 5 sisters - Jacqui (aka Dolly), Kristen, JacQuera, Kayla, Kiara; and 5 brothers, Edward (Antoinette), Jeremiah (aka Jay), Matthew, Laynell (Frances), Cameron; twelve nephews (special nephews Baby Jay and Jamir); seven nieces; uncles R.B., Leo (Judy), Greg (Valerie); aunts: Vanessa (Jerry), Jacqueline (Steve), Rosaline (Frank), Tena, Rhonda, Felicia (Charles); and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins & many friends. Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018, 3:00pm @, Grace Outreach - 10936 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, MN 54448.
