Millikan, James Richard Age 66 of Eagan, MN passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at home. Jim was born to Richard and Dorothy Millikan, November 19, 1951, in Columbus, OH. Following graduation from Upper Arlington High School in 1969, he attended The Ohio State University earning a B.S. in Risk Management. He was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity serving as chapter president during his senior year. Jim spent his career in the financial planning and insurance industry. He served as a Vice President at Minnesota Life and later moved to Voya Financial where he served as SVP of Strategic Distribution. Most recently, he built his own financial services firm and served as President and CEO. Jim spread joy to all through his positive attitude and spirit. He loved his family, the peace of the wilderness, and the Delts. Go Buckeyes! He is survived by partner, Ann Romberg; daughter, Taylor Millikan of St. Paul; daughter, Emily Meyers (Matt) of Minneapolis; mother, Dorothy Millikan of Apple Valley; sister, Susan Millikan of Orlando, FL; nieces, Sara Fisher (Bo) and Lauren Wilkinson, Orlando; Maleka Mau, Fremont, CA; grandnephews, Tripp and Henry Fisher, Orlando. Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Nahara Janice Mau, Fremont and his father, Richard G. Millikan, Peoria, IL. A celebration of life will be held 5PM Saturday December 1, 2018 at Town & Country Club, 300 N. Mississippi River Blvd., St. Paul, MN 55104. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Delta Tau Delta Education Foundation care of Beta Phi Chapter (10000 Allisonville Rd., Fishers, IN 46038).
