Paulson, Carol Mae (Bateman) Of Plymouth was born in Gibson City, IL on December 20, 1931 and died at home November 16, 2018. Carol was a graduate of Mansfield (IL) Community High School and Illinois State (Normal) University with a degree in Home Economics. She taught Home Ec at Bradley Bourbonnais Community High School, Bradley, IL and later evening classes in garment alterations at Hennepin Technical College. Carol was a member of GMPSA (Greater Metro Professional Sewing Assn.) and an alterations business owner for nearly 50 years. She volunteered at IOCP, was an ardent student of the bible and an active member of Messiah United Methodist Church who volunteered with many parenting and teaching groups. Last November she was preceded in death by Robert, her husband of 60 years. Also preceded in death by her parents, Polly and Pallas Bateman; sisters, Leona Dewey, Ruby Rendall and brother, R. Donald Bateman. Survived by her children, Barbara (Arthur) Keith, Eric (Kymn) Paulson, Jennifer (Bruce) Engle and Linda (John) Winkler; grandchildren, Emily Paulson, Sally (Joseph) Levine, Carissa (David) Lick, Catherine (Roman Rey) Keith, Samantha Engle, Bryce Winkler, Libby Winkler; great-grandchildren, Ezekiel Lick and Theodore Levine. A Celebration of Carol's life will be held 11 am Saturday, November 24 at Messiah United Methodist Church, 17805 County Road 6 in Plymouth. Visitation 1 hour prior to service at church.
