Opatz, Gerald Simon Age 87, of Bloomington, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on November 10, 2018. Gerry was preceded in death by his parents, Simon and Adeline and brother, Jim. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Peggy McNeal Opatz; sons, Gary (Lynn), Larry (Karen), Kevin and Keith (Meredith); grandchildren, Holly (Nick), Scott, Kristi, Kari, Rory and Celia; great-grandson, Cameron. He is also survived by twin brother, Don; sisters, Eileen and Jane; brother, Ralph; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Richard's Catholic Church, 7540 Penn Ave. S., Richfield on Friday, November 16th at 11 am with visitation at 10 am.
