Thomas 'Tom' Wakefield

Wakefield, Thomas "Tom" Passed away on Oct. 22nd at the age of 68 peacefully surrounded by family and friends. His great passion for learning included pursuits in navigation and aviation leading to many adventures on sea and in the sky. He loved animals especially horses, cats and peacocks. Tom was also a writer. In his books he shared his knowledge in the pursuit of happiness and fulfillment in life's journey. His belief of "living life in awe" and a quest for adventure guided his many pursuits in travel. Unfortunately, his life was cut short by cancer. Preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Wakefield. Survived by his father, John Brost; siblings, Jerry, Jim and Victoria Aberg; and many nieces and nephews.
