Hilgers, Alfred "Al" E., Jr. Age 81 of Mound/ Deephaven passed away October 8, 2018. Al will be lovingly remembered by his wife, MaryAnn, of 63 years and his children, Jon (Dawn) Hilgers, Cindy (Jim) Roppo, Tim (Zina) Hilgers, Beth (Chad) Clay, Cathy (Dan) Reins and Dan (Jodi) Hilgers. He will be greatly missed by his 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Survived by his sister, Judy Winterhalter. Preceded in death by infant son, David; parents, Alfred and Elvira Hilgers; siblings, Joann, Karen, and Gary. The family will host a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, October 24 at the Huber Funeral Home in Excelsior from 4:00 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be accepted to be used for a memorial bench at Thorpe Park in Deephaven.
