James R. Kadlec

Kadlec, James R. Jim Kadlec, known to family and friends as Jimmy or Kaddy passed away at his home in Minneapolis on October 6, 2018 at the age of 70 years. Jim will be remembered by his wife and best friend, Paula; and siblings, Dawn Pflug, Susan Zwack, Barb (Mike) White, Steve (Patty), Rob (Lori); mother-in-law, Irene Couch; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Garry, Kim, Carmen (Jerry) Peterson, Kevin (Sue), Lisa (Pat) O'Neill, Mary Hollermann, John (Marla), Jill (Rodney) Carey; and many nieces, nephews and good friends. He was predeceased by parents, Don and Rita Kadlec and sister, Laurie. Jim is a veteran of the Vietnam War where he earned a Purple Heart, Bronze Star and a Silver Star in service to his country. A memorial service and celebration of Jim's life will be held on Sunday, October 28th at 2:00 pm at the Crystal VFW 5222 Bass Lake Rd., Brooklyn Center, MN 55429 In lieu of flowers, please share a story or memory of Jimmy.
