Koenig, Robert August Age 90 of Eden Prairie, was born November 2, 1927 in Colts Neck, New Jersey. He passed away on August 9, 2018 at home with loved ones near. Robert is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gloria, and son, Gregory. Bob is survived by children, Victoria, Stephanie Mullaney (John), Roberta Schinner (Jim), and John (Donna Erickson); eight grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren. Bob grew up on a farm, and was always a farmer at heart, growing huge vegetable gardens and spending most of his free summer days in the backyard. He was also a wonderful cook and became an avid bread baker, sharing his baked goods with family and friends. Most of all, Bob was a dedicated husband, father, dog dad, and devoted caregiver to his wife. Special thanks are extended to Bob's caregivers and the Methodist hospice team who accompanied him on his journey. Memorials preferred to Animal Humane Society, 845 Meadow Ln.
