Sorlien, John age 55 of Minneapolis, passed away unexpectedly on July 19, 2018. Preceded in death by parents, Carl and Sharon; He will be missed by those who survive him: partner, Arne Vermillion; brothers, Rick (Michele) Pechonik, Dennis (Catherine) Hart, Nicholas (Sally) Sorlien; a broad circle of family and friends, especially Sarah Bober and Michelle Bierman. A lifelong music teacher and songwriter, John had a big heart full of kindness and compassion and a great sense of humor. He was a father to many tarantulas.
