Marrone, Elmer Emilio Thomas Leone ("El") Born near Rome, Italy in 1923, he was welcomed by His Father to his heavenly home on Sunday morning June 24, 2018. He was one month shy of his 95th birthday. Survived by son David and his wife, Kim, and other family members: Bob and Jan, Carlo and Stefania, Jim and Joan, Lee and Lori, Nino and Marzia, Sam and Roni. Preceded in death by wife of 52 years, Josephine, son Daniel, and parents Rugerio and Carina. El served in the US Navy as an Aviation Machinist in the Pacific during WW2. El pastored several churches in Missouri and Indiana for over 56 years, including 27 years at East Chicago Assembly of God and 14 years at Elkhart Calvary Assembly, where he retired at age 80. His final years were spent at Friendship Manor nursing home in MN where he received amazing love and expert care, for which his family is most grateful.
