Heinrich, Jacqueline Kay (Pelton) 81, of Minne-tonka, MN died peacefully on May 15 after complications from a stroke. Preceded in death by her husband Dean Pelton. Born to Katherine & Adrian Norman in 1937, she graduated from Patrick Henry High School in North Minneapolis. Jackie attended Iowa State and the University of Minnesota, where she received her master's degree. In 1959, she married Don Heinrich and they raised 3 children in St. Anthony Village. Jackie began her career as a food scientist at Pillsbury, later teaching Home Economics and running a restaurant magnet program in the Minneapolis Schools. She taught at North, Edison and Patrick Henry High Schools, from 1974 until 2000. Jackie married Dean Pelton in 2001, and they enjoyed many happy years together, playing golf, hosting dinner parties, and traveling around the world. She loved spending time with family and life-long friends and had a passion for gardening and reading. Jackie is survived by her sister Adrienne (John) Karns of Colorado, daughter Tamara (Mark) Bratland and sons Stephen (Lisa Wolfe) Heinrich and Michael Heinrich, grandchildren Ben (Taylor) Bratland, Tom Bratland, Ava Heinrich & great grandchild Oliver Bratland, nieces and nephews and a dear cousin, Nancy Larson. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, June 7 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 10:00 am at Parkway United Church of Christ, 3120 Washburn Ave. N, Minneapolis, MN, located at the intersection of Lowry Ave. N. and Vincent Ave. N.
