Schneider, George J. Age 89 of West St. Paul passed away on May 15, 2018. Preceded in death by father Frank; mother, Anna; and siblings, Frank Jr., Matthew, Barbara, Kathrine, Joseph, and Phillip. Survived by loving wife of 63 years, Joan; children Nancy, Michael (Debra), Dee (Dave) Bentley, Phil (Tamra), Chuck (Christy), Beth (Mark) Lisowski; 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, Nick and Carl (Jean); and sister, Rosemarie (Rudy) Ramirez. George grew up in South St. Paul and served his country in the Army. Together, George and Joan raised their family in Inver Grove Heights where they lived for 49 years. A special thank you to Vicki Hagen with Allina Health Hospice and the caring staff at Good Samaritan Society in Inver Grove Heights for all their support the past 6 months. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Wednesday, May 23rd at the Church of St. John Vianney, 19th Ave. No. at Bromley, South St. Paul. Visitation 4-8 PM Tuesday at Klecatsky & Sons Southern Chapel, 414 Marie Ave., South St. Paul; and 1 hour prior to the mass at church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
