Turnquist, Elsie B. Our beautiful, talented mother, grandmother and great grandmother packed up her watercolors and brushes and set off just before the snowstorm to join her ever-adventurous late husband Ralph on a new journey. Although her balance for nearly 98 years remained steady, an unexpected fall, broken hip and surgery proved too challenging; yet she was circled by love at the end. We are grateful to have had her wisdom, wonder at nature's beauty, enthusiasm and generosity for so long. Survived and treasured by Rolf and Liz; Trude, Alan and Chick; Ayla and Tim; Adi and Ellison; T. Cody and Meredith; Casmir and Kieran; Sydney and Ben. Heartfelt thanks to Friendship Village staff for 16 years of care, Dr. Ron Kaufman, Todd Lunda, Dr. Bernie Rottach, (our genie) Jeanne, and ICU nurses Brooke and Christine. A Celebration of Life will be held this summer. Memorials to the Minnesota Arboretum (Marion Andrus Center) and Friendship Village EAF. Bradshaw Green Cremation 651-439-5511
