Charles Gilbert Krouch

Krouch, Charles Gilbert age 87, formerly of Sandstone, MN passed away at his home in Siren, WI on March 22, 2018. Charles was born on August 26, 1930 in Sandstone at Nedegaard Nursing Home to Ivan and Alice Krouch. He grew up with five sisters Dorothea, Maxine, Ruth, Barbara, and Vivian. Charles attended Sandstone High School and graduated in 1948. He then went on to college at U of M Duluth from 1948 to 1949. Charles was baptized and confirmed on December 31, 1950 at Salem English Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. On June 29, 1951 Charles married Alice S. Kari and celebrated the birth of the daughter, Karen in 1960. After 40 years at Honeywell Charles retired from the company. A memorial service is planned for Charles at 2 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Finlayson, MN on March 31, 2018. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church.
