Robert E. 'Bob' Bealka

Bealka, Robert E. (Bob) Age 77 of Osceola, WI formerly of Chaska and Coon Rapids, MN. Passed away after a courageous 4 year battle with cancer on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Regions Hospital, St. Paul, MN. Bob was born on September 1, 1940, in Shakopee, MN. the son of Emil and Frances (Steinberger) Bealka. He attended Guardian Angels Elementary, Chas-ka High School, and received a BA in Chemistry from the U of MN. in 1966. Bob spent his life employed by companies in the investment casting of metal parts. He owned and operated Bealka Casting in Osceola, WI. Bob's passion was fishing and hunting. He made fishing trips with family and friends every May to Dog Lake in Canada. Bob's Annual Fish Fry followed for everyone in July. Fall season brought excursions with hunting buddies to South Dakota. A faithful hunting dog was always at his side. Bob was preceded in death by spouse Audrey Aase, parents Emil and Fran Bealka. He is survived by wife Janet Schaapveld, sons Tom (Judy) and Tim (Donna) Bealka, daughters Terri and Trudee (Don Berens) Bealka, Traci Bealka Schultz, brothers Dennis (Kathy) and Neil (Glenna) Bealka, sister Kathy (Dean) Roper, former spouse Diane Tessman, eight grandchildren, Tony, Amanda, Ashley, Rachael, Jacob, Don, Ella, Tom, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and special dog Storm. Celebration of Bob's life on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at 11a.m. and visitation one hour before at Guardian Angels Catholic Church on 218 W. 2nd St. Chaska, MN 55318, luncheon to follow at St. Francis Hall. Interment at Morningside Cemetery, Wednesday, April 4, 2018, 1PM.
