Survived by wife of 68 years, Helen; children, Lowell (Audrey) & Cynthia (Oliver) Singleton; grandchildren, Forest, Selena, Sarah; 5 great- grandchildren; brother, Merlyn; other relatives and friends. Founder of Plants Beautiful Nursery. Controller of Minneapolis Institute of Fine Arts and St. Joseph's Hospital, St. Paul. Long time usher at Mount Olivet Church. Navy WWII Veteran. Avid hunter, fisherman and Jack of all trades. Funeral Service 2PM Thursday, March 22nd Mount Olivet Church, 5025 Knox Ave S, Mpls. Visitation one hour prior at the church. Private interment.
