William J. 'Bill' Brazil

Brazil, William "Bill" J. Age 75, of St. Paul, MN (formerly of Green Isle, MN) passed away on March 6, 2018. Bill was a lifelong learner, a sports fan, a theater-goer, a science enthusiast but, most of all, a kind and gentle human being. He was preceded in death by his first wife Sandy, and parents Cliff and Dolly Brazil. Bill is survived by his wife and best friend Cleone, daughter Sara (Jerry Lefkowitz) Brazil, son Mike (Kate) Brazil, stepdaughter Kate (Jared) Gianatasio, and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by sister Kathy (Ted) deLancey, brother Pat (Mary) Brazil, and many other relatives. The family extends deep gratitude to the amazing staff at Our Lady of Peace Hospice; the nurses at ANW Hospital; and Dr. Stuart Bloom, Becky, and Amy at MN Oncology. Bill could not have received better care. Visitation at O'Halloran and Murphy Funeral Home, 575 Snelling Ave. So., St. Paul from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on March 16 and at the church one hour prior to service. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 17 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 4537 Third Ave. So., Minneapolis. Burial in Green Isle, MN.
