Lora Mae Jefferson

Jefferson, Lora Mae was born on December 20th, 1931 to George and Hazelle Sukert of Bemidji, MN and passed away February 1st, 2018 in New Hope, MN at the age of 86 years & 37 days. On March 2nd, 1951 she married William Jefferson and together they raised two daughters. Bill said "sixty-seven years was not enough." Lora is preceded in death by her parents and two sisers, Gladys Leitheiser and Helen Schei. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, William Jefferson; her sisters, Patricia Steele of Hawaii, Kay O'Rourke of Bend, OR, and Marianne Castellani of Boston, MA; one brother, Haven Sukert of Houston, TX; two daughters, Dianne Hickok who is married to Dr. Cline Hickok of Hudson, WI and Janet Jefferson of Otsego, MN; and three grandsons Nathan Henry of Bemidji, MN, Joe Henry of Bemidji, MN and Dan Henry of Rogers, MN. A memorial service will be held at The Residence at North Ridge Apartments, 5500 Boone Avenue N, on Sunday, February 18th at 2 PM.
