Nelson, Peter F. Age 78, (of Minneapolis) passed away at home January 17th, 2018. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by wife of 50 years, Judi; daughters, Jennifer (Mike) Haber and Carrie Watts (Jason Lyons); granddaughters, Kaylie and Sophia Watts and Madelyn Haber; siblings; Jack Nelson, Mary Spalding, Margaret Russell, Jim Nelson (Ellen Durkin). Peter was born in St. Paul, MN; grew up in Breckenridge, MN, graduated from Breckenridge High school, University of Minnesota and Harvard Law School. He worked at Northwestern National Bank, Minnesota Attorney General's Office and private practice until retirement. Peter will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his devotion to the Minnesota Twins and his loyalty to his friends and family. He will be missed. Private memorial will be held at a later date. Memorials preferred to Heartland Hospice, Minnesota Oncology for Research or charity of donor's choice.
