Potvin, Anne V. (Tomczyk) age 101, longtime resident of Robbinsdale. Preceded in death by beloved husband, Felix; infant grandson, Timothy Potvin; parents; five sisters; four brothers. She will be deeply missed by her children, Marilyn (Duane) Carlson, Felix "Butch" Potvin Jr., Sue (Terry) Stripsky and Margie (Ken) Modeen; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren (plus 3 due in June); sister, Genevieve Barthel; special friends, the Knotz family; many nieces and nephews. Anne was born on July 5, 1916, in Northeast Mpls. to Bernadette and Vincent Tomczyk. Her love of family and life was apparent to all who knew her. She and her husband Felix owned a small grocery store in Robbinsdale from the mid 50's to the early 60's when the influx of the large grocery store chains forced their closing. Along with her sister Genevieve, Anne co-owned Catering Services for over 35 years, where much love and home cooking graced hundreds of weddings and other events. Stolat! Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Wed., Feb. 7th at the Church of St. Margaret Mary, 2323 Zenith Ave. N, Golden Valley. Visitation 5-8 PM Tuesday, Feb. 6th, with 7:30 PM prayer service, at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 3888 W. Broadway, and 1 hr. before service at church. Interment St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.
