Burglary. Someone called police to report that beer and other alcohol had been stolen from an unlocked garage of a home on the 14400 block of Eldorado Street NW.

Theft. A rocker was stolen from the porch of a home on the 500 block of 140th Lane NW.

JUNE 12

Assault. A man called police to report that his girlfriend had stabbed him and struck him on the head with a bottle of alcohol on the 1500 block of 122nd Avenue NE. Police arrested a 31-year-old woman for second-degree assault.

JUNE 14

Disorderly conduct. A woman from a home on the 300 block of 104th Lane NE. called police to report that her neighbor had placed trash over the fence into her yard while she was watching. According to police reports, the woman confronted the neighbor and he became upset and yelled profanities at her and told her to quit mowing his lawn. An officer advised the woman of her options and she just wanted the incident documented.

JUNE 17

Drugs. According to police reports, a follow-up inspection of a rental property in the 11600 block of Eldorado Street NE. was being conducted because of previous code violations when a marijuana-growing operation was discovered in the basement. There were approximately 50 marijuana plants and lighting and watering equipment, police said. All were seized, and two men, ages 27 and 32, were arrested.

Theft. Someone called police to report the theft of a bird feeder at a home on the 300 block of Belle Aire Drive.

Theft. Someone reportedly stole plants from a garden at a home in the 100 block of Viking Boulevard NE.

FRIDLEY

JUNE 12

Animal complaint. A man called police to report that a deer was in the backyard of his home on the 1400 block of Gardena Avenue NE. An officer advised him to open the gate to his yard so the deer could leave.

JUNE 13

Assist family. A man called police to report that when he arrived at his apartment on the 300 block of 53rd Avenue NE., his girlfriend had thrown his personal items outside on the lawn and locked him out. An officer advised him to let the girlfriend cool down and sober up before confronting the situation.

JUNE 14

Found items. A woman called police to report that she had found a Bible in the middle of the road at University Avenue NE. and Mississippi Street NE. According to police reports, she attempted to locate the owner but was unsuccessful. An officer tried calling the last known number for the owner, but the phone had been disconnected. The officer also attempted to make contact at the last known address of the owner, but the house was vacant.

Assault.A 15-year-old boy was arrested at a home on the 5200 block of Jeffery Drive because he had assaulted his father.

JUNE 26

Property damage. Police were called to a home on the 2600 block of Ridge Lane regarding property damage. A hot tub cover had been melted by fireworks.

RAMSEY

JUNE 16

Kidnapping. According to police reports, a man called police to report that someone had blocked his vehicle into a driveway on the 5800 block of 160th Lane NW. The man then was forced into another vehicle and had to get cash before being allowed to leave. Two officers went to the location and a dog bit one of the officers on the leg. Another officer shot and killed the dog. Police arrested a 23-year-old man for kidnapping, false imprisonment, theft and having no city license for the dog. Also arrested was a 37-year-old woman for kidnapping, false imprisonment, obstructing the legal process and failure to restrain a dog from attacking.
