A motorcyclist fleeing the State Patrol on a St. Paul interstate at high speeds crossed into Wisconsin and crashed before running from the scene with his passenger, authorities said Monday.
The motorcyclist, who crashed Sunday night at 3rd and St. Croix streets in Hudson, remains at large, as does the woman who was riding with him, said Hudson Police Chief Marty Jensen.
The chase began in St. Paul on Interstate 94 near the Dale Street exit, soon after a Minnesota State Patrol trooper attempted to stop the motorcycle on suspicion of speeding.
During the pursuit, the motorcycle reached 120 miles per hour, authorities said.
