Hindu Temple of Minnesota celebrates renovation of temple

Thousands of Hindu devotees gathered at the Hindu Temple of Minnesota to celebrate the renovation of the temple. Every twelve years Hindu temples must be restored to their former glory including each of the mini temples inside. To celebrate the restoration and renovation, a festival known as Ashtabandana Jeernodhara Kumbhabhishekam or AJK for short. The celebration lasts four days and includes plenty of prayer, rituals and traditional dancing and music.
