While you can quibble with his conclusions — there are movies far, far worse than "Plan 9 From Outer Space" — Derek Lee Miller's enthusiasm for the obscure corners of filmdom is palpable throughout this show. He tackles heroes of the horror genre, from oceanographer-turned-scream-queen Brinke Stevens to "Plan 9" star Vampira. It feels like a lecture at first, but picks up energy when Kip Dooley arrives to play Miller's bro-tastic alter ego from another universe. Their interplay makes the show. (10 p.m. Tue., 8:30 p.m. Fri., 10 p.m. Sun., Huge Theater, 3037 Lyndale Av. S.)
