Kids dancing to win cash for Minnesota hospital ...

I guess I'm a sucker for online video contests in which people make fools of themselves for the common good. The latest? Parents and kids are dancing online, hoping to gain the most votes so they can earn $5,000 to $30,000 for the pediatric hospitals of their choice.

I guess I'm a sucker for online video contests in which people make fools of themselves for the common good. The latest? Parents and kids are dancing online, hoping to gain the most votes so they can earn $5,000 for themselves and $30,000 for the pediatric hospitals of their choice.

The Primrose national child care chain is sponsoring the contest for hospitals in the Children's Miracle Network, including Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul. Click here to see how far the Tan family of Blaine has gone to try to raise a little money for Gillette. I'm sure the Tans would appreciate your votes.

A second Minnesota family -- the Martzes of Breckenridge -- posted a family dance video for the Sanford Children's Hospital in Sioux Falls. Give the Martzes credit for degree of difficulty; I've never seen dancing like that attempted to Led Zeppelin before.

Finalists are selected weekly, but voting wraps up later this month. So post your video soon!
