Good morning, commuters!

For those who have to go to work today, traffic should be lighter than normal as many people will be off for the President's Day holiday.

The roads are dry and wide open at this hour.

Metro Transit and other suburban transit agencies are running on a regular weekday schedule today. Parking meters in Minneapolis and St. Paul are free. Do check those operated by the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board as those normally are enforced, even on holidays.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
