The No. 15 Gophers women's soccer team tied No. 25 Michigan 0-0 in double overtime on Sunday afternoon in Ann Arbor. Minnesota senior goalkeeper Tarah Hobbs had three saves for her 30th career shutout, which built on her program record.

"We're certainly proud of the way our team played," said coach Stefanie Golan of the Gophers (12-3-2, 6-1-2 Big Ten).

"We created a lot of good looks, and it felt like we did everything but put one in the back of the net."

Minnesota had the edge in shots (27-12), shots on goal (11-3) and corner kicks (6-3) over the Wolverines (9-3-3, 5-2-2), who remained unbeaten at home (7-0-3). Simone Kolander led the Gophers with seven shots, five on goal.

"Credit to Michigan for putting a ton of numbers behind the ball and making it tough," Golan said. "But we felt like we were in our attacking third of the field the majority of the game."

The Gophers are tied for second place in the Big Ten with Northwestern, one point behind Penn State (10-2-4, 6-0-3).
