Bill Cosby is still at it.

Mr. Cosby posted a link to a recently published article about his career through his Twitter account.

So, Hopefully you've seen by now that I have an account on Twitter to help promote my readership: @ProverbTribune

While navigating the Internet I came across a tweet from @BillCosby that linked to an article regarding the continuation of his career and some of the criticism he's recently received regarding his act. The article states that in a phone interview Cosby refuted criticisms about him sitting while performing and "...going from one subject to another without finishing".

Cosby basically says that's the way his show has always been and it has nothing to do with his age.

Thinking back I remember watching The Cosby Show and from what I remember, in every episode I watched Bill always sat. If not lounging on the sofa, he was in his own chair in the living room or seated at the kitchen table.

To me, the critique seems illegitimate. But why would we even be concerned about something as trivial as a man of a certain age performing as if he's of a certain age?

If Bill Cosby were getting too old (I don't think that's the case), isn't that what he's supposed to do? People get old or die young. I would personally prefer the former for myself as well as Cosby who for years as been an idol of mine and for an entire nation of others.

What I'm trying to say in a civil manner is: Get a life.

Peace,

Proverb

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
