Authorities this weekend were investigating the death of a man whose body was found late Friday in a home in Alexandria, Minn.
City police said the man was unresponsive when officers and an ambulance crew arrived about 10:30 p.m. at the 1600 block of 6th Av. E. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man was not identified. Police said his death did not appear to be a random act and that they believed there was no risk to the public.
The police investigation included the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the West Central Drug and Violent Crime Task Force.
