"I wanted to share with you this monster buck I shot last Friday in LeSeuer County. He was 12 points ( and had two small, inch-long points as well). The Boone and Crocket green score came in at 174 6/8. He's incredibly symmetrical and his circumference measure's between 5.5 and 6 inches, which makes him incredibly thick for a typical whitetail. All the old-timers in the neighborhood say its the largest deer they've seen in our area - an area that doesn't typically see deer this size. What makes this story even better is I got to enjoy this hunt with my father, Steve, who in August was in a very serious farm accident. He broke his back and spent a majority of August in Rochester getting put back together. Because of the amazing work of the surgeons at Mayo Clinic, I was able to enjoy this prize with my proud father!"
