It's been a fairly dry winter with snow events few and far between. With today's snow, the State Patrol issued these tips for safe driving.

It's been a fairly dry winter with snow events few and far between. With today's snow, the State Patrol issued these tips for safe driving. Good advice for all who venture out today:

• Slow down.
• Increase following distance in bad weather.
• Drive to the conditions of the road.
• Pay attention.
• Buckle up.
• Drive Sober.
