3 fatal crashes reported within 12 hours in Minnesota

Within less than 12 hours, four people died Saturday on Minnesota roads in three separate accidents. They were:

• Yujie Miao, 25, of Dallas, was killed in a one-vehicle rollover about 3:45 a.m. Saturday off Hwy. 30 near Stewartville.

• La Yin, 48, and Naw Wah, also 48, both of St. Paul, were killed about noon near Cannon Falls when the Honda Civic they were riding in was broadsided as it turned from Hwy. 52 onto 280th Street. They were not wearing seat belts. The State Patrol did not release a condition of the driver of the Civic, Lui L. Thein, 21, of St. Paul.

• Krista Suronen, 42, of Rogers, died about 3 p.m. while driving on Hwy. 59 south of Thief River Falls. The State Patrol was still investigating.
