Can we get a W, a T and an F, Pat Sajak?
"Wheel of Fortune" host Sajak was left questioning his own hearing and perhaps life itself during a recent episode of the game show, thanks to the unusual letter choices of a contestant named Nura.
The unflappable — well, usually, anyway — was left flummoxed as Nura, the contestant, attempted to solve the puzzle (clue: What Are You Doing?) with a couple of the least-used letters of the alphabet.

At first, Nura called out a "Z," prompting the host to wonder what he'd just heard.
"Say that again for me?" Sajak asked.
Shockingly, there was no Z in the puzzle.
Later, Nura chose the equally unpopular "X."
Again, no dice.
For her third turn, unable to come up with a more likely choice than Z or X, Nura simply blanked.
Eventually, the puzzle was solved, revealing the phrase, "Following Footprints."

"May I ask you a question?" Sajak asked Nura afterward. "You called some unusual letters in that round."
"That's what I saw," Nura replied.
"Well, that was an unsatisfactory answer, but she's not under oath, there's nothing I can do," Sajak responded. Astonishingly, Nura ended up the big winner with $13,970.
The website HitFix offered two possible explanations: that Nura was trying to give others a chance to win some money, or that her choices were part of a strategy in the speed round to force others to guess letters while she pondered the correct answer.
