After a series of pianistic fusillades in the Tchaikovsky, pianist Stephen Hough came back and played an encore at Orchestra Hall Saturday night. Hough announced his piece -- 'Capricho Catalan' by Albeniz -- and dedicated it to the memory of Alicia de Larrocha, the Spanish pianist who had just died at 86. De Larrocha, who some called the greatest pianist of her generation, played many times with the Minnesota Orchestra, Hough said. His encore was arranged by Hough himself. Hough plays again Friday and Saturday (Oct. 2&3), at Orchestra Hall, again for a live recording.
