Preview: Saturday's 92-91 victory at Charlotte ended a 10-game losing streak for the 24-47 Pistons, who also have lost 14 of 17 since the All-Star break. Both teams have won 24 games, but the Pistons have played three more games than the Wolves. All of it could mean something come draft-lottery time. … It's almost April and this is the first of two meetings between the teams this season. They finish the two-game series April 6 at Target Center. The Wolves has swept the season series each of the past two seasons.

Players to watch: Pistons C Greg Monroe — taken seventh overall in the 2010 draft, three picks after the Wolves took Wes Johnson — is averaging 15.8 points and 9.5 rebounds and has a career-high 31 double-doubles this season. That's the most by a Piston since Ben Wallace had 34 during the 2003-04 season. … Pistons G Jose Calderon — acquired from Toronto in a January trade that sent Tayshaun Prince and Austin Daye to Memphis and Rudy Gay to the Raptors — meets Spanish national team pal Ricky Rubio on for the first time with his new team. He is 10th in the league in assists with a 7.2 average and has had 15 or more assists six times this season. Rubio is averaging 7.3 assists but is not listed among league leaders because he has played just 43 games.
Injuries: Wolves F Kevin Love (hand surgery), G Brandon Roy (knees) and G Malcolm Lee (knee, hip injuries) are out. Pistons C Andre Drummond has missed 21 games because of a stress fracture in his spine and went through his second full practice Monday but is not expected to play on Tuesday.
