Morning from practice.

Niklas Backstrom, who hasn't started since Dec. 31 because of a hip injury, is practicing this morning. Matt Hackett was reassigned, meaning Backstrom should be at least able to back up tomorrow against Vancouver.

I'll look to get an update after practice.

Also, defenseman Marco Scandella, hit in the head with the puck last night in the third period, is practicing. Everybody else is out there, it appears.

Will update blog this afternoon.

Update: Scandella left the ice early in practice looking a tad loopy. Wild still has six defensemen and could just reinsert scratched Cam Barker if Scandella can't play. I'll have update afterward
