Kennedy leaves Buffalo without a deal

Although he was "impressed" by the Bills on Friday, Vikings unrestricted free agent defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy left Buffalo without signing. He had had no immediate plans for visits to other teams, but will continue shopping while his agent works toward a deal with the Vikings.

Although Kennedy is looking for a chance to start somewhere, the former first-round draft pick also wants to win a championship. He's also weighing his chances of getting both wishes in Minnesota -- eventually. The Vikings are closer to winning a title than the Bills, obviously. And Pat Williams, whom Kennedy backs up, is 37 and could be playing his final season.
