The Vikings made a late addition to their injury report on Saturday, placing rookie wide receiver Percy Harvin on the list because of an illness. Harvin is listed as probable for Sunday's game against Chicago, meaning it's a "virtual certainty" he will play.

Running back Adrian Peterson missed Friday's practice because of an illness so it's possible there is a bug going through the locker room. Defensive linemen Fred Evans and Jayme Mitchell dealt with illnesses before the Vikings played Seattle last Sunday. But this is not the first time Harvin has turned up on the injury report because of an illness this season and at times that has been because he is dealing with migraine headaches that have bothered him since he was 10 years old.

There has been no confirmation that Harvin has migraines this time around but it's certainly a possibility. Harvin missed practices on Thursday and Friday before the Vikings' victory over San Francisco in Week 3 and he was listed as questionable for that game. Harvin, though, was able to play and caught four passes for 51 yards and also returned four kickoffs for 51 yards. He took one of those kick returns 101 yards for a touchdown en route to being named NFC special teams player of the week.

In another bit of news today, the Pro Football Hall of Fame selection committee has selected the 25 semifinalists for its class of 2010. There are four former Vikings on the list, including wide receiver Cris Carter (1990-2001), running back Roger Craig (1992-93); defensive end/linebacker Chris Doleman (1985-93, 1999); and defensive tackle John Randle (1990-2000).

This list will be reduced to 15 modern-era candidates and those finalists will be announced on Jan. 7. The inductees will be announced on Feb. 6, a day before the Super Bowl.
