APPLETON, WIS. -- On the eve of his first game as a visitor in Lambeau Field, Vikings quarterback Brett Favre told ESPN's Ed Werder that he hasn't been feeling well and has been taking antibiotics two of the past three weeks.

Favre added that he felt bad as recently as Friday. Favre came to his Wednesday news conference a few weeks back and announced that he had a cold and has mentioned that he hasn't been feeling great. Thus, it should come as no surprise that a professional athlete has been given something that the team hopes will make him feel better.

Favre hasn't missed any practice time, according to the Vikings injury report, becaues of illness but he has shown up with an assortment of injuries, most recently a hip issue that limited him last week.

Favre also told Werder that a Packers fan had shipped all of his Favre-related collectibles to the Vikings and suggested Favre sell them on eBay because he obviously needs the money.

On another front, John Czarnecki of FoxSports.com is reporting that wide receiver Bernard Berrian won't play today because of an injury to his left hamstring suffered late in the first half of last Sunday's game in Pittsburgh. Berrian is listed as questionable but his absence would come as no surprise. He missed much of training camp after injuring his right hamstring against Indianapolis in the preseason opener.

While Berrian won't play, I'm banking on Percy Harvin being on the field today after missing Thursday's practice and being limited Friday by an illness that coud have been another go-around with migraine headaches for Harvin.

Finally, it's a gorgeous day for football here and it seems as if the wind has died down. Currently it's 45 degrees in Green Bay with a wind of 5 miles per hour from the southwest.
