If you want a quick-paced and slightly different look at the Vikings' 27-24 victory over San Francisco on Sunday, tune into the NFL Network at 8:30 tonight to see a 90-minute version of the game.

NFL Network has been doing this for a few years. They strip out elements of the game that weren't critical and go right from the second quarter into the second half. What is cool about this is they offer some of the footage shot by NFL Films and also footage from the postgame news conferences that helps describe plays.

If you're a Vikings fan and get NFL Network, it's probably worth a look.

By the way, I've heard talk the past few days about other last-minute Vikings victories and how this compares. The one that came to mind for me was the 1980 victory over Cleveland when Ahmad Rashad caught Tommy Kramer's Hail Mary pass to put the Vikings in the playoffs.
