NFL spokesman Greg Aiello tweted that the league and Vikings officials are considering moving the Vikings-Giants game to TCF Bank Stadium on Monday night or possibly to another NFL Domed stadium (Detroit or Indianapolis perhaps?).
Aiello tweeted that the Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission informed the league that the Metrodome will not be available Monday or Tuesday after the roof collapsed this morning.
Aiello said the league is exploring moving the game to the Gophers home stadium. That option presents some challenges as well because the venue is about 12,000 seats smaller than the Metrodome. And the Giants packed gear for an inside game.
