Six running backs were selected before Jerick McKinnon in May's NFL draft, but it is the rookie out of Georgia Southern who leads all rookies with 392 rushing yards. It certainly helped that he rushed for 135 yards, the most by a rookie back this season, in the Week 4 win over the Falcons.
