Here are a couple numbers to keep in mind as you follow tonight's TwinsAngels game..

Albert Pujols owns Ricky Nolasco. The slugger is a career .464 hitter against Nolasco with three home runs. It's a matchup that goes back to when Pujols was with the Cardinals and Nolasco was with the Marlins.

Heck, Yunel Escobar is batting .412 against Nolasco with a homer. Mike Trout and Cole Calhoun are 3-for-10.

Something else to note: Joe Mauer loves hitting in his park. Mauer is a career .362 hitter with four home runs and 18 RBI in 34 games here. His .951 OPS is the second highest of any road park he's played at least 30 games in. And Mauer has reached base in 24 straight games, the longest active streak in the league.

In what is a little quirk in the schedule, the Twins open a three-game road trip tonight at Anaheim before returning home to play host to the Yankees in a four-game series. It's a long way to go for just three games.

All three games are night games, too. The Angels rarely schedule getaway day games, which has not gone over well with opponents through the years. So, after the Twins wrap up this brief road trip, they will arrive back in town at about 5:30 a.m., try to catch a nap, then get ready for the Bronx Bombers.

Newest Twin Neil Ramirez is here and is wearing uniform No. 50. He throws hard, as fangraphs has him with a 93.8 mph fastball for his career, and he's been known to touch 96. He also has a good slider. If he can throw it over the plate, he'll be good. He posted a 0.74 ERA over his first 16 games with the Cubs in 2014.

His head has to be spinning a little bit, having started the season with the Cubs but has been since claimed by the Brewers and now the Twins.

Will check back later with lineups and any updates.
