Besides the TwinsCentric writers you (occasionally?) enjoy here, Twins Daily provides lots of opportunity for other independent Twins writers to showcase their talents. Even just looking at the blog page that features the last 10 or so stories, I find several worth featuring. This weekend's entries had a common theme: hope.
Looking for some immediate hope? James Richter has it for you, and shows we have pretty short memories. Looking for more hope, maybe a couple years down the road? Jim Crikket looks to Iowa and the latest series that top prospect Miguel Sano just had. If you're willing to look further in the distance (and much further away), Jnygaard looks at Puerto Rican prospects that the Twins might target in the amateur draft. Finally, if you're looking for hope in the unlikeliest of places, how about in Luis Perdomo's beard?
Meanwhile, as usual, the minor leagues are practically smothered. There are the minor league game stories for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. And on Saturday he held a live chat, with lots of Twins and minor league talk.
