Twin Cities Hunt.Fish.Feed. initiative a success

Just a quick blog posting to serve as a wrap-up to Sunday’s event where over 200 less fortunate individuals within the Twin Cities community were fed a hot, nutritious meal thanks to the generosity of area sportsmen. The Sportsman Channel’s Hunt.Fish.Feed. Program is on a nationwide tour showcasing efforts of sportsmen helping to feed the hungry.

Thanks, in part, to the combined cooperation from SCI’s Sportsmen Against Hunger, Comcast, Catholic Charities and the Sportsman Channel, the effort involved nearly 40 volunteers who prepared, cooked, and served the meal (even doing the dishes afterwards).

If you’d like to see more…I’ve posted some pictures over at my other blog site showing the volunteers in action.
